Anette Svane

Anette Svane is an independent filmmaker and PhD researcher at Lund University. Both in her films and in her research, she is concerned with notions of embodiment, socio-political otherness, violence and intersubjectivity. In her PhD project she is merging feminist phenomenological conceptions of embodied subjectivity with film theory in order to think through (the space for) female subjectivities in contemporary Scandinavian films (and beyond).
