Christin Yu
Christin Yu is a PhD researcher in the History of Design programme at the Royal College of Art in conjunction with the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London, UK. Supported by the AHRC, her work explores identities, nationalism, mythologies, gendering processes and cultural imaginaries through the lens of Korean patchwork tradition. Her professional practice as a textile designer for Alexander McQueen (2012-2017) and Peter Pilotto (2011-2014) inform her lens of material analysis through making.
