Ezra Shales

Ezra Shales, Ph.D., Professor of Art History at the Massachusetts College of Art, is the author of Made in Newark (Rutgers University Press, 2010), which explores civic artisanry as a praxis to build regional identity in the progressive era, and The Shape of Craft (Reaktion, 2017), which prompted a reviewer to identify him as a “philosopher of the factory floor.”
