Kris Dittel
Kris Dittel is as an independent curator, editor and writer. Her work centres on clusters of research that are informed by her background in economics and social sciences, as well as an ongoing interest in the (failure of) communication and performativity. Her most recent curatorial and editorial projects engaged with the notion of value in art and artistic labour (The Trouble with Value, 2017-20), and currently exploring the material substance and performative potential of the human voice (Voice as Material and Post-Opera, 2017-ongoing). At present she is co-editing two volumes, The Material Kinship Reader with Clementine Edwards (2021) and Singing Beyond Human, with Jelena Novak (2022).
