Sasha Shestakova
Sasha Shestakova is an interdisciplinary researcher, currently based in
Moscow, Russia. Their main interests include the decolonial perspective
on art in the heterogeneous Post-Soviet space as well as the non-western
perspectives on time and space. They hold an MA Contemporary Art Theory
from Goldsmiths UoL and currently pursuing Ph.D. at Ruhr University
Bochum. Their recent projects include “Caring for the shaky ground” –the
cognitive mapping of infrastructures and temporalities of oppression and
resistance in Crimea, and “Constructing infrastructures for the
futures”–an interrogation into infrastructural temporalities.
