Katarzyna Zimna

Katarzyna Zimna – artist and academic, born in Lodz, Poland. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz (2002). PhD from the School of Art and Design, Loughborough University, UK in 2010. Habilitation in fine arts in 2019. Author of a book: Time to Play: Action and Interaction in Contemporary Art (I.B. Tauris 2014/ Bloomsbury 2020). Intermedia printmaking is the main area of her practice, which also includes textile, book, object and interactive art. She has participated in over a hundred national and international collective and juried exhibitions and conferences. Author of several solo shows.
