Linda Paxling
Linda Paxling has a PhD in Technoscience studies and is currently a lecturer in media technology at Malmö University. Her research interests include feminist technoscience, critical design and norm-critical innovation. Paxling is interested in understanding what role technology is playing, and will play, in the current debates on growth and degrowth, the anthropocene epoch, and the grand challenges of our time. As part of her PhD, Paxling studied mobile technology development in Uganda and media technology education in Sweden. During her postdoc she studied how discriminatory norms and values are embedded in technology design and organizational structures, how these norms and values affect individuals and groups negatively and what kind of interventions can be done to develop more inclusive and just innovation processes.
