Özgün Dilek
Özgün Dilek is a post-doctoral researcher at the HDK-Valand, Academy of Art and Design, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Currently, she is immersed in the research project Thingstigate, delving into the exploration of how aesthetic objects can mediate socio-political transformation. Within Thingstigate, her focus is centered on comprehending the relational aspects of objects in socially engaged art, primarily through the compilation and analysis of digital archives.
Her previous research interests encompass diverse practices of making, with a specific emphasis on agency as an emergent outcome of collective practices. Broadening her scope, she maintains a keen interest in relational ontologies within art and design. This involves considering various contexts and intersections that are crucial for understanding the intricate processes of differentiation.
