Stacey de Voe

Stacey de Voe is a visual artist (b.1988) in New York and based in Malmö, Sweden. Through a research oriented approach, her practice uses site-specificity and the archive to investigate broader issues concerning textile histories, collective memory, feminized labor and friendship.

Not bound to a specific medium the materiality of her practice unfolds across installation, sculpture, moving image, performance, printmaking and publication. Through an assemblage of artisanal and mass-produced objects, de Voe allows divergent historical residues to connect and disconnect, opening up for new relations and meanings to emerge.

de Voe has exhibited and performed work at SYSTEMA, Marseille (2026); Au Passage, Paris (2026); Moderna Museet (2026); Simian, Copenhagen (2025); Skēnē – Space for Contemporary Art, Malmö (2025); LCCA/Latvian National Museum of Art, Riga (2025); Skånes Konstförening, Malmö (2024); Oslo Kunstforening, Oslo (2024), amongst others.

She was a resident at the ISCP in New York in 2026 (IASPIS) and at the Cité internationale des arts, Paris in 2025.
