Victoria Karlsson

Victoria Karlsson is a sound artist and researcher. She is interested in our relationship to sounds and listening and how they intersect with and relate to broader cultural contexts and beliefs. In 2022 she completed her PhD at CRiSAP, University of the Arts, London. In her research project, she defined and explored “inner sounds”, sounds we experience as part of our inner world of thoughts and emotions. She works with sound and listening across a variety of mediums, such as performance, composition, text-based scores and installation.
