Close Attention: Post-residency presentation
A lunchtime sharing session reflecting on Time of the Owl, a five-day deep listening workshop led by Jana Winderen, and a self-directed short residency that followed.
The workshop explored nocturnal perception, interspecies communication, and sound beyond human hearing, listening not as passive reception but as attention, responsibility, and coexistence.
This session turns that attention toward the residency itself: Who participated? What happened? When do we learn?
A discussion reflecting on mobility, privilege, locality, reciprocity, gentrification, and the entangled promise of residencies as sites of co-habiting, co-creating, and co-learning.
All welcome.
